What is a Buyer's Agent?
A Buyer's Agent
represents you, the Buyer, who is purchasing real estate. A Buyer's Agent has
no responsibility to the Seller at all. As a REALTORŪ I owe you full
fiduciary responsibility, duty and loyalty. I work for you and have your best
interests in mind throughout the entire real estate transaction process. Why use a Buyer's Agent? As a
consumer, how often do you buy real estate? Once, twice, three times in your
lifetime? Purchasing real estate is a complex and major transaction with many
details to be handled. Traditionally, the Seller will be represented by a
listing agent or REALTORŪ. Wouldn't you want to have complete, confident and
fair representation in the real estate transaction as well? Remember, the selling
REALTORŪ is not responsible to represent you in any way or to ensure that you
are protected. This goes for new homes sales as well. As a
Buyer's Agent I am responsible to protect your best interests. Research by the
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORSŪ has shown that when a Buyer's Agent is used,
the Buyer has found his home three to four weeks faster and examined three to
ten more properties than those who did not use a Buyer's Agent. See my page on Why
can't the agent representing the seller represent me? for
additional information. The Benefits of Using a
Buyer's Agent Using a Buyer's Agent
offers many benefits.
Most
importantly you will know that you are fully represented throughout your real
estate transaction by me, your REALTORŪ and my company, Realty Executives, whom
you have hired. |
